Forget about sending a check, money order or cash. Wire transfers are a cost effective way to get your money where it needs to go, fast.

Wire Transfer Requirements

Wire transfers allow you to transfer money electronically, typically from one financial institution to another. Here's what you need to get started:

Signed agreement.

A signed wire transfer agreement must be on file. Visit a local branch to complete the form.

Photo ID.

Members will be asked to present a photo ID when requesting a wire transfer service in-person.

Wire transfer fee.

Please see the Fee Schedule for more info regarding the wire service fee.

Domestic wires only.

Please be aware that Copper State CU does not send international wires.

Most wire transfers can be sent and received within the same business day.

In-Branch Transfers

Wire Transfer Instructions

The following information is required to complete a wire transfer:

Wire amount
ABA/routing number
Name of receiving financial institution
Beneficiary name – name of person or company that will receive the funds
Beneficiary account number
Beneficiary address
Purpose of wire
Beneficiary financial institution – needed only if receiving financial institution uses a third party to process wire transfers
Name of beneficiary financial institution
Beneficiary institution address
Beneficiary institution ABA/routing number

The deadline for all outbound wire transfers is 1:00 PM MST Monday – Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Any requests for wire transfers received after this time will be processed the following business day.

International wires:

Catalyst Corporate does not have a SWIFT code that allows international wires to be sent directly to Catalyst Corporate CU. The sending foreign bank will need to go through its US correspondent bank or a foreign correspondent bank that has a banking relationship with a US correspondent bank.
