Copper State Credit Union is a local Arizona credit union who values family, empowerment, discovery, excitement, and respect. Our vision is to elevate the financial strength of Arizona families through every season of life. For you – that’s higher education!

Valid identification, proof of address and $5 is all you’ll need to open your membership savings account. And once you graduate, you won’t have to find a new credit union. Our robust online banking platform and mobile app has everything you'll need at your fingertips.

Higher Education Scholarship

Copper State Credit Union will award three $5,000 scholarships towards any beauty or technical school, vocational school, community college, associates' program or four-year university.

Student must be accepted and enrolled to begin within the next calendar year. Winners will be based off of high school academic standing and school or community involvement.

Applicant must be accepted at a U.S. college or technical school as a full-time freshman beginning classes within the calendar year.

Disclaimers

Scholarship applications will be reviewed and winners selected by July 31, 2024. The Selection Committee will be made up of the following: Copper State Credit Union employees, leadership team and board of directors. The Selection Committee’s decisions are final. Scholarship funds awarded will be payable for tuition and books and will be made deposited to the members share savings account by Copper State Credit Union. Winners agree to allow Copper State Credit Union to use their name and photo in various marketing methods at their sole discretion. Completed application form and all supporting materials must be received by no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, July 12, 2024. Membership requirements must be met prior to Friday, July 12, 2024 to be eligible for funds. Copper State Credit Union will not be responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected mail. Failure to follow all instructions may result in your application being disqualified. Copper State Credit Union employees or immediate family members of employees are not eligible for scholarship funds.
