2023 Back to School Drive - Benefitting Arizona Helping Hands

First and foremost, we value family. At Copper State Credit Union, we recognize that family goes far beyond our own and can be defined differently for everyone. Ours includes the children of our local Arizona community. For the past decade, Copper State Credit Union has proudly partnered with Arizona Helping Hands to bring comfort and joy into the lives of Arizona foster children.

This year we are joining forces for the 2023 Back to School Drive. Beginning Friday, June 2 through Thursday, July 13 we will be collecting school supply donations online and at all Copper State CU branches. Our goal is to donate 7,500 backpacks filled with school supplies ensuring every child has the supplies they need to feel confident and prepared to start the new school year strong.

Ways to make a donation:

• At your local branch: make an in-person donation at your closest branch.
  
• Online: a $35 donation will provide 1 backpack filled with school supplies.
• Amazon Wish List: donate supplies via Amazon.

Arizona Helping Hands (Tax ID# 86-0935988) founded in 1998, is a non-profit organization providing basic essential needs to children in foster care system in Arizona. They are a one-stop-shop that not only helps prepare families who are about to become first-time foster families but continue to provide guidance throughout their entire journey. From clothing to toys, books, school supplies and even furniture, every donation counts.

Arizona Helping Hands spends 93 cents of every donated dollar on their programs and receives no government funding.
